valve cover! will i still work?

long story short, father crack the corner of it will it still seal with the gasket? i plan on putting this on my new rebuilt.

i wouldnt but i guess you can try it just make sure you check for leaks

Would probably work for a short term, try a little sealant if you have to use it.

you could try can getting it fixed, you could try JB weld, to fill it in. i would look to see how bad it is with the valve cover gasket installed

it really dont seem that bad i would re use itput on some silicone over the new seal and bolt it up till you get time or another one to redo all your work on it, the crack dont look like its gone all the way through from what i can see just the outer lip

calan had one fixed. Have it welded he has access though idk how expensive it would be to have to pay somebody to do it.

ya id try dry fitting first then if need be seal with silicone
