blacked out 97 GSX rims?

does anyone have any pictures of some 97 GSX rims with the middle powder coated black and the outside ring still chrome? or all black, doesn't matter actually. I've been thinking of doing it and would just like an idea of how it'll look. Thanks!

Supposedly theres a place in Auburn that does good work powdercoating, I hear $40 a rim for a basic coat job. I dont know the name of the place, but I planned on researching that as soon as I pick up a set of '97+ GSX rims.

That looks real good. The general rule of thumb is 50 bucks a wheel for powdercoating.

Damn, I wish I didn't buy my Motegi wheels now. I should of just picked up some of those wheels and powerdcoated them Oh well

that is exactly what I plan on doing to my GSX rims. Some of the guys in my club have used a spray paint from autozone or advance auto, made exclusively for wheels and it has turned out great. Now that I have bent two of my rims I will have some to practice on before I do it to the ones on my car.
