My sun roof bounces around when its closed, i know the cars kinda old but, but is there some way i can adjust something so that it sits snug? i have used torque bits before and moved it around but it still bounces.

I think theres some sort of weather stripping that borders the sun roof that may going bad. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

Take the glass out and tighten the screws that hold the track to the assembly. You can only get to all of them from the topside, with the glass out. This fixed the rattle in mine. That, plus tightening the ones you already did, should fix it. If not, then read on.

Next, try to manually wind the glass down further, to tighten up the cables in the drive system. There's a hex wrench in the tool kit that fits in the drive motor. Pop the little panel off just behind the sunroof switch and you'll see the hex fitting. Crank it down and see if that helps.

If that doesn't work, the entire sunroof assy might be loose. Not very likely, but maybe. With the glass fully closed, can you move it and the track together (after tightening all the aforementioned screws)? If so, you may need to pull the headliner and tighten the bolts that hold the sunroof assy to the roof of the car.
