Anyone know about dash pad availability from the dealer?

I have removed the dash assembly on my 92 laser and disassembled it hoping that I could recover the cracked and curling molded vinyl. I think trying to repair the OE piece will be more trouble than its worth. Has anyone bought a new one from the dealer or know if they are available. I am talking about the padded portion of the dash only... yes it is removable.

I think they'll laugh you out the door. Plymouth's long-dead, Eagle died before that, and Mitsubishi cry themselves to sleep every night while sucking their thumbs and praying DSMs never existed.

If you know a interior custom shop round town you can check or find a better parts car and take what you need

Call JNZ and see if it's available thru mitsu still. I know a lot of that stuff has been discontinued for 1G's tho.

I looked through CAPS using a vin number from a 1993 GSX. Is this the piece you're looking for? It is called "Pad, Instrument Panel D-Gray". The part number is MB791457.

Most of the parts are actually still available, not saying the dash is for sure, but i know i can still get all the carpet and weird little pieces for my 2g and have had to go to the dealer for numerous weird items on my buddies 1g interior. We got a center consol for it and all the parts to make the shifter and e-brake look good again. some one had trashed it cutting it up and sticking rice on it and putting lights and an EQ in the consol.
