i want to change the interior color of my 1g

i want to change the interior color of my 1g from that god awful ugly tannish-brown fuzzy shit to black. i'd really like to have leather seats, but where i live, 1g's are hard to find in the junk yard. would black fabric paint work? and what could i use to blacken the other non-fabric parts in the interior?

Regarding the seats and fabric, I probably wouldn't spray them. You can usually pick up new carpet for a decent price, and for seats, you could always check with a re upholstry shop to have them redone. I think that's what I'm going to do with mine. For the plastic peices, I've been looking around, and found some spray paint that you can use on plastic that I'm going to try. My rear plastic inside the trunk area is really faded, and I may try to color match it to the exterior maroon color of the car. I think if you sand it down well, and hit it with a few coats of color, then a couple clear coats it should be pretty good. That's just my suggestion, and I'm sure there are plenty of others out there that may have better ones...

Duplicolor vinyl and fabric works alright for me, I had the lame rainbow colored/grey interior and changed everything rainbow colored to black. It fades a little over time (I touch it up every year) but it's nothing that can't be resprayed in 15 minutes. Also if you have tint i'm sure it would help the fading.
