max power from amp...

i got my subs working thanx to you guys on here, now im trying to figure out how to get the max power from the amp...

i have my subs wired in a (series/parallel) = 4 ohm load

but im confused on how to get the "max power" from my amp as listed below....


rms power @ 4 ohms 65watts x2
rms power @ 2 ohms 125watts x2
max power output 750 watts x2

does the way i wire the speakers affect the amount of power im getting from the amp to the speakers themselves?
