Scoopin' the "powerbump"

Ive just had a novel idea...
Has anyone ever tried to make the trademark DSM bump in the hood into a hoodscoop by cutting an oval shaped hole in the front of it? If you were good witt metal or fiberglass you could make it nice and smooth so it wouldnt just look like a hole cut in your hood.

Some people have done it. On a turbo model there is no need since you don't need air blowing on the cam gear cover.

i know of a company that makes a carbon fiber hood w/ the bump made into an airscoop. looks kind of nice.

I made a post about this before...I was flipping through an Import Tuner and saw one in an ad. Its just the bump, with a scoop in it. But you have to vut yours out and get the new one molded in. The only problem is i dont remember the name of the company. But i do know they make it.

Yes but you may as well spend the money on a scoop to vent hot air rather then money to put a scoop in a place that isn't very efficient.

you could go a step further matt and have one on both sides. never seen that, could be interesting.

It has been done numerous times. There is an orange eclipse with the dual humps and scoops. I was going to do this but I would rather add perfoprmance.

If you put dual humps on your car, and then put a bra on it, it would look just like boops popping out of a bra. Just the way I like 'em.
