Seat height / racing seat question

Hey all, i just got my 2nd DSM and this is my first time posting on these boards. I figured someone here would be able to help me out since I have always come to the forums and found great answers without even having to post. But my problem is kind of unique

I'm 6'7" and i just fit in my eclipse now. I have a 97 GSX and my problem was with my 96 when i took it to the track for the first time. Normally driving i lean the seat back a bit which is relatively comfortable. But I would like so sit more upright, also when i was at the track the helmet added about 2 inches to my head so i was basically laying down going down the 1/4 ha ha.

So I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some racing seat info on who's would give me the lowest possible seat for my car. Or if there is any way to lower the stock seat but its power so I'm assuming its either not possible or very hard / easy to screw up. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Get a racing seat, then take it to someone to have a custom bracket made. You could make a bracket that would pretty much sit on the floor, letting you have about 3 or so inches more headroom. I'm 6ft... I can't imagine being 6'7" with a DSM

I'm also 6' and I can't wear a hat in my car.

On the bright side, in the Stealth I almost bought right before I got my car, My head touched the roof without a hat.

My brothers got a stealth and hes 6'5" so i should have custom brackets made? Where and how can i get this done? Thanks for the tips.

I am 6'2''
I made my own brakets that alow the sets to be just high enuff off the floor to slid back and forth
I use seat rails out of my 87 crx rwd pro street car

I need to lower my seat too. Are those brackets a straight bolt on and you get a few more inches, or just some basic modifications like bolt holes?

Make an nice bubble like the GT40. I would make custom brackets as well. Maybe get some recling seats

If you go with a sparco seat, get their laser cut bases, they sit the seat practically on the floor.
