After about my 5th power antenna on my '97 GS-T, I wanna put on a non-power antenna. Does anyone know for sure if a non-power antenna from a '97-'99 GS will bolt right up the same???

BTW, does anyone else have this problem w/the power antenna not wanting to go up/down after a while?

I have the same problem, I put in a new antenna around 3 months ago and it wont work anymore. I remember seeing a while ago that someone put an s2000 antenna on there car (I think) but I don't remember if they had to change anything to put it in.

Within reason, antennas are antennas. You can get short rubber ones, normal chrome ones, the Talon type which is just a black mast, or anything else you like. Replacement antennas come with adapters for the slight variations in body holes, and for various mounting angles. You may want to try your luck with a glass-mounted antenna that does away with the body antenna. Depending on where you live and what you listen to -and how far away they are, or how many building their transmitter is behind- many people get by with no antenna.
