1Ga talon taillights and aftermarket.

My friend wants aftermarket taillights for his 1ga talon. Will the eclipse aftermarket tails fit the talon backend? I could be wrong but the size of the talon, eclipse, and laser taillights all look diffrent. If the aftermarket taillights do have to be modded to fit, is there a write up anywhere? I have searched with no luck at all. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure he's gonna need to get a 1Gb eclipse rear bumper in order for them to line up correctly, since thats what the tails are actually made from. Don't quote me on that tho.

yeah thats what im thinking, the aftermarket tails dont fit on the 1ga eclipse? 1gb bumpers are slim to nill around here in the junk yard but you can find 1ga's by closing your eyes a pointing

90-91 eclipse talon and laser tailights are the same shape and size of 92-94 eclipse lights. no need to swap bumpers.

i thought 1gb lights rounded just a lil bit on the bottom outside corner,, where as 1ga's just were a corner???? Which would i guess allow the tails to fit.. BUT would leave a small gap..

ok now i have another question about this topic, i have a 93 talon and recently switched to a eclipse rear bumper (reverse lights and licence plate are in different spots) and put eclipse tails in (turn signals are different). The talon has 4 bulbs in the stock tails, 3 running/brake lights and a blinker, where the eclipse is set up for 3 bulbs, one of which doubles as a blinker. If i get a different set of wires from an eclipse can i plug into the talon and then have the correct turn signal lights?

there is a little bit of wiring difference, not sure what you mean by the currect turn signal thing, basically you have to change the wiring so that you have the same set up as the eclipse lights had when they were on the eclipse. I cant think of which wires are which at this time, but its not hard to do at all
