Sunroof for me TSI..?

My 90' TSI AWD is everything I wanted in a car... Except for the sunroof. I really wanted one of those, and was wondering how much it would cost me to get one installed in my car...?

I was thinking of getting one a ways back.

A power sun roof would run aroun $650 dollars.
A pop up one should be around $250.

I think my next goal is to go to a couple of respected shops in my state and see how much a targa top would run me. I am guessing somewhere in the number hood of 1,500-3,500.

Just another quick question...

Would that $250 cover cutting the roof, installation, ect..?

I went to my local Satan (dealer) and asked them. They were able to tell me where they send cars to have them done if buyer wanted it but car wasn't shipped that way. I think they quoted about 1,000 installed, and had lifetime warranty, guaranteed not to leak.

You might try asking a local dealership as well.

Ok, After about 15 mintues of me being a putz and forgeting how to log online. I finally can reply.

I went to a local custom car shop.

They told me $650 for a power sunroof.
$250 for a pop-up.

Now, Seeing as how I am getting old at 23 and my memory isn't all there.

I believe the install prices were included in that price. Maybe it was just a special free install.. Sort of like my Xmradio/cdplayer was. who knows.

But just go asking about to places that sell that kind of stuff.
