Here is the story...I put my car, 98 eclipse, in the shop to get painted a few weeks ago. I originally picked the royal saphire pearl off the '97 supra for my color. But the guy at the body shop is pushing his own opinions on me...but he is willing to do it at no extra cost......He wants to use the HOK PBC37 Majik Blue. It basically just has more pearl and it's a little brighter in the sun. Also around the edge of my CF hood he wants to do kinda like a tribal design to bring the color into the hood so it flows with the body and it's not just a straight line, also for free. Would he being doing all this stuff for free cause I am a girl? I mean he cut about 2K off the paint job and he wants me to come back and work for him when I graduate Wyotech.
All of his work is excellent and he's done plenty of show cars including his own.....also he is putting extra clear coat and wet sanding the finish so it looks show quality but I am torn between the colors. I know HOK is a more expensive and higher quality paint but I really like the royal saphire pearl. What is you all's opinions??
