Hi sup
There is this weird plug on my driver's side door (Not on the passenger door) +some weird wires that I have no idea what they are for .
also, the wires on my stock door plug were cut and I had to put them back together with electrical tape.
Do you have any idea what they might be used for???
The car is a 97 GS with aftermarket alarm so it might be a part of that? I thought that they might be door poppers but then why is it only on one side? please reply I need some input!!

Also, my power door locks just stopped working like 3 days ago with no apparent (sp?) reason! they used to work perfectly fine... some told me that the problem is the power door locks fuse in the box under the dashboard on the left side... I tried to change the fuse but it did not make the power locks work... any one experienced the problem?

obviously you are not the orig owner - the 'why are they cut' question is apparent.
somone else cut them
they wanted power for what ever reason.

I did not do that... and i want to figure out what they wanted to power...

Hey man i have a 97 GSX and it has Keyless entry, Well my door locks when insane, they keeped openign and closing by them selfs and finaly they stoped working, Turned out when they tinted my windows they spay alot of water on the drivers side rear quater panel and it driped right down onto my keyless entrey control box and corroded everything, If you have keyless entry remove the trim below the window behing the driver seat and inspect the little box, also take a good look at the connector if its corrored, Mitsi wants 120 for this puppy, being an electronics student i just brang it in and replaced the parts and this time covered it with a plastic baggie so it would'nt happen again, Also what might have happened to your car was they shorted something and endined up burning up the line, The IDIOT the i bought my car from did this and had to get a wireing harness from another gsx and replace a whole section, hope i helped you out

but you see, I have a factory alarm (the 2 way thing with LCD display) so is it different than the stock factory one?
Also, it's not like I got something installed and it stopped working. It happened just like that
