hey so i took off my dash, and pulled out the speedo/tach/guages insturment. ive popped the hooks out that holds the clear cover over the insturment pod, but its stuck on the odometer reset. does this pull out? i tried maybe unscrewing the cap, its not threaded...any ideas?

All I did was pulled hard on it and it popped out. Then when you put it back in it just snaps back(and mine reset my trip odometer). Just outta curiosity, what are you doing that you need that plastic off? Last time I took it off, I ended up messing up the needles, and now my tach reads about 200-300rpms lower than what it really is, and my speedo is off by about 1.5-2mph(reads low).
