rattley glove box... I got the shakes!

My glove box rattles.. if you push on it while you drive it stops shaking. Its not because there is stuff in it... it just rattles.. anyone else have this problem? any ideas on how to fix it?

I have the same problem. I dunno if theres a cure. Think thats just what happens when cars age. My last car did it and so does my dsm. Just turn up the music

Replace the rubber bumpers, or make some from an eraser, just tight enough to snub it.

where are the bumpers? is this something you can order from chrystler?

I'd not bother with the dealer. However, I thought of something else- the glovebox couldn't be easier to remove. There are two stops on the sides. Empty out all the crap, and slide the stops forward and they fall out. Remove them, and let the box swing all the way down. There are two phillips head screws holding the hinges. Undo them and take out the glovebox. Drive around and see if that was where your rattle was. Proceed as needed from there.
