stock 1 g instrument needles illumination?

Don't the stock 1g needles glow at night? I am asking because I saw a kit that says it makes them glow, but I thought they glowed/glew??? orange at night...

Yeah, its like red and shit, but i just looked at em, they have like orange lines on em to make em glow orange, so i guess its clear needles that glow???

The actual light that illuminates them is white. And like you said, there is an orange color on the needle which when combined with the white light, it appears to glow orange.

yeah, but I kinda like the orange glow, I mean, why really change it??? Yeah its custom, but to pay to change something so little, whos gonna notice really???

most people dont go with orang they go blue so it is a big change

That does sound kinda cool now because of the guages I want to use, but is there anyway to have the needle like, black during the day and red at night or sumthin, i dunno... I think I am gonna leave that stock, I don't like to play with stuff I don't know too much about...

the reason ours light up orange is bacause the underside is painted orange and the rest is clear so when the light goes through the needle it reflects the orange... i had the blue kit on my talon and i just ordered another one for my eclipse.. i will take pics when i get it installed...
