These are my newest addition to my baby. A new set of 16" Konig Reaosns w/ Gunmetal/Polished finish. I have to stay w/ 16's because I need all the tire for the harsh winters, but I think they look good w/ my car. What do you think?
P.S. I know my car is a little dirty, but I couldnt wait to take pics.

93 Talon Boy - Why didn't you get 17's or 18's for the summer and keep your stocks for the winter??

-Paul-

because I am fine w/ havng 16's for the whole year. And those stockers are fugly no matter what season you are in :p

I see a neon tube peeking out there... *tsk tsk tsk*

rims look nice. I think you should have at least gotten 17". But hey, its not my car.

haha yeha that neon is just on so its not sitting in the garage anymore, im moving it in this weekend so its not visible. And I wanted bigger rims, but I need the tire for winter and driving up to our mountain homes. So 16's will have to do.

blah... i have 17'' rims with lo-pro tires and get by fine in the winter... and nebraska has almost the same winter as colorado

but do you take the long dirt roads in the rockies that just chew up your tires like no other...
but besides that, the rims are already on and I'm not gonna go spend $700 to get the same rims that are 1 inch bigger. so please stop telling me to get bigger rims, i need all that tire. Anyways, do you like the gunmetal/polish look? is 7-spoke look good? any feedback like that is cool. thanx

its not really how big your rim is or how low profile your tire is, its how the tire is designed. Alotta lo pro.s are made for dry summer driving, but there are a couple that have just as good traction on wet pavement, and even fewer with good traction all around... but it doesn't matter what size your tires are or how good they are, no matter what you do, your car ain't gonna handle well if you are trying to run on pavement thats been iced over.

true and I had these tires before I had the rims, which was another reason I had to get 16's. They are Fulda Extremo's and they are quoted to have "Excellent wet and dry traction, and Ultimate handling and response." These are the tires that are included i the Subaru Outback High Performance package, so I'm pretty sure they are great in snow and offroad. So i didnt wanna just throuhg these away and have to spend even more ot get new tires.

ok, anymore feedback?

May I say nice rims, and nice car, but I dont think they flow very well with your car. Not tryen to be rude or any thing......

my friend got those same rims in 16" on his Focus. So i cant say that I fully support anything that was on a focus.

but the seven spoke look on a dsm is always nice (view my pics).

Indeed I do, only I went with 18's and dropped it 1.5"

I'm not highjacking, just adding :thumb:

Lookit how cute those little brakes are in there.

yea us 1g fwd guys really got the shaft when it comes to brakes. :(

DCsGST: The rims look nice on your wifes car and nice choice :thumb:
Mavisky: Yeah we really did get the shaft with our tiny brakes... :thumbdown

i dont really like the way they look. sorry but thats just my opinion and what does it matter? its your car so if you like it, its good :thumb:

my reason - they are small, the tire is big. it looks finny to me. i understand your reasoning behind it and all. i personnally would not run those wheels in winter, i always take mine off and run stockers during the winter so my good wheels dont get eaten by salt or scratched up if i slide into a curb or something.
