I was looking at my 97 eclipse yesterday. The hatch was up and I got to thinking, what if you took off the hatch all together and put some kinda concave fiberglass or carbon fiber replacement there with a glass cut out so you can still see out of the back. What do you guys think?

i think he means that the hatch would be the stock dimensions only made out of carbon fiber

everything that is fiberglass on it now would be carbon fiber
