Let's get this settled once and for all. Vote for which 2G Eclipse is better and why, 2GA or 2GB. Just for the records, I vote for the 2GB. Duh.;)

I voted for 2GB and I have a 2GA.

:thumbdown with the smiley face bumper

2GA, most of the time, they're cheaper, and when i get one, im getting a kti anyway. so might as well vote for the "usual" cheaper one:thumb:

the 2gb because of the body.....but isn't the 2ga better built and have more options? I mean such as the 95 Eprom and 95 Manifold as well as rings and stuff like that? I know on the nt that the 97-99 have the most problems engine wise....

I like the 97-99 front and spoiler, and the 95-96 rear, but the 95-96 rear does look sort of bare without a lip, maybe I'm just used to mine.

BTW, I know why this thread was started. Just because people might like one thing more than another, doesn't exactly mean it's better or give you the right to think you're better because you have it(which it kind of seems you do, not that you're the only one).

TIA,
Spidey

In terms of Talons:

2GB front bumper rocks, but I think the rest of the body sucks. I like the smoothness of the 2GA Talon better, plus the AWD side skirts own.

In terms of Eclipses:
I like the 2GB eclipse everyway better than the 2ga eclipse.

I would say 2GA. The 2GB front is to low to the ground when lowered. If your not careful you can tear it up easy. Plus the A smiles and the B doesnt.

I have a EARLY 95 model, 109K and looking at its history it has had no crankwalk issues.

If 99s really resolved the crankwalk issue, I think we'd know what is causing it. So far I think the "oil squirter" theory works best.

It is no secret. The bearings weren't built to specs, and in some cases they were built so poorly the crank then begins to move. Mitsubishi has a special program out, if your crank begins to walk, where they make special bearings to fitted to your motor.

It's like...everytime my car breaks... I look over at it, and it's like it's laughing at me. I'm keeping the 2ga rear, actually I just picked up another matching one on ebay for 20bucks. But I'm gonna get a 2gb front.

Also, 109k miles... don't feel safe, mine didn't walk until 132k
