Your not proving me wrong. what I said was carbon was made for it weight issues and durability. I didnt say anything about it being made to look good, carbon fiber was used for NASA long before it even touched a racecar...

I'm sure NASA didn not specify a high gloss finish on their carbon fiber parts.

Weight = $$$/bad for space launches.

Resin = Weight.

Heres my pic. This is the VIS Racing Xtreme GT carbon fiber hood. I had it painted because the carbon fiber didnt look good w/ the graffix. Fitment was great and craftmanship was excellent. I would recommend any VIS carbon fiber hood.

anyone know if the vader hood will fit turbo cars? it might have issues with the cam cover

Greenstreak has a vader on his Tsi, if im not not mistaken he didnt remove the timing belt cover. i was looking into THIS hood, and yes that is for an eclipse LOL. if not ill just go with a Vis OEM style.

The invader hoods will fit. You may have to try the hood support for clearance purposes. And yes Erik has the invader hood on his TSi AWD.

My car with the Vader style. I did have to remove the timing belt cover for it to fit properly.
