Well here is what happened!

I drove to work this morning and the car ran great. On my way home getting on the JTB freeway i hit the throttle and watched my boost guage like I always do. It held perfect at 10psi for a few seconds then spiked past twenty before I could get my foot out of the throttle. I pulled over and poped the hood, the wastegate vac hose had hardened and broke off causing my boost to soar.

To say the least the motor is shaking bad, which means I busted a piston. I'm working on getting another beater car was we speak and for now will be stuck driving this one on 3 cyclinders.

***Update I just bought a 1g NT for a daily driver and will be pulling my motor in the 2g very very soon....I will let you all know what happened, but it's time for a rebuild!!!

Hey know you can rebuild with better internals and run 15psi daily and even more on the track. Also how did it spike up past 20psi?

I thought you already had the forged internals? 10psi is playing with fire on the star kit. What injectors were you using, and what kind of fuel management were you using?
