Need Advice on Buying New Turbo

i was searching craigslist for a deal on a turbo earlier since mine is pretty much dead and i came across a guy who is hard up for cash so he's selling a Garrett
t3 maybe a t3/t4 hybrid turbo for 125. He said it has no in and out shaft play, but has a very little amount of side to side. Should i steer away from this, or does it sound okay to use? Need help asap he said he'd sell it to me for 75 today

well the garret is a brand name turbo. what happened to ## previous turbo?

my oil outlet was to restrictive and blew a seal. I hear good things about garrett's so i was wondering if anyone had any insight.
