when you put on the fmu and remove the stock fpr is the fmu preset for pressure or do I need to set it and if so where? idle- stock setting??? and when boosted it will take care of itself?? just trying to take care of some teardown before it arrives this friday... :thumb: also has anyone else had problems getting an OBX fuel rail mated to a OBX manifod?????It just doesn't seem to fit right

with an fmu i don't think you remove your stock fpr. it mounts like a tee between your fpr return ant the fuel tank. as far as the rail and mani i hear that you have to make a backet to get it to work.

Correct with the FMU you retain your stock fpr. If you upgrade to the SFMU (which you should do) you can get rid of the stock fpr as the sfmu acts as a fpr as well as letting you adjust its settings.

my fpr is beside my tank with a short return line to the tank so all i do is to mount the fmu in the engine compartment and run a new return line back to the tank with the old fpr in line???

if you want to run all that fuel line then go ahead. i want to mount mine buy the tank and just run the pressure line to my intake using zip ties to keep the line close to the car.

doesn't the fmu have a vacuum line running to it for when it goes to boost it raises pressure ?? won't having that line to the fmu that far away give a little delay in raising fuel pressure?

I don't know don't have a boost gauge in the engine compartment but your talking about a line that would be 8 feet long to make it down and along the bottom ? I guess vacuum is vacuum and boost is boost no matter how far away ... :thumb: I finanlly got the obx rail on the manifold and it was a beauch! But it's all good now I don't have a digital camera but I will take my rolls of film to walmart and have them put it to disc..... how do you post pics in your gallery? great on cars sucky on pc's
