here's some pics of Thursday nights install, only took about 5hrs, I'm working on the piping for my front mount right now, I'll post the pics when I get it all done in a few days. :thumb:
Oh yeah, I hooked up the pyrometer and moved the battery cable after I took the last pic(and yes I plan to sand and repaint the coolant line that's rusted in the pic) :thumb: :dsm:

Does the hood close w/ the piping running through the top like that?

EDIT: More picies please

My guess is the turbo is turbonetics t3t4.

If your putting a FMIC on it... why run the pipes like that?

that's exactly what I thought when I put the I/C pipe on, but it closes fine. It's the pipe that comes with the star stage 1. It's only like 2" diameter LOL, but I got some polished 2.5" I'm going to use to build my I/C piping for my front mount with. I'm doing it tonight so I'll try to get some pics by tonight/tommorrow :dsm:
The turbo is a turbonetics T3/T4, not sure wht size trim or AR but it spolls at 2500 as of now, I know that's gonna change when I get the front mount on. :thumb:

Take more pics of the left side (when facing the turbo) I'm curious to see something....Btw what are you doing for a dp?

Please post pics when your run the piping on the fmic :dsm:

my 90 degree elbow/reducer won't be coming until wed. now  so I guess the IC will have to wait until Thursday(next day off). As for the Dp, it came with me star kit, here's some more randome pic's  to appease your appetite miamieclipse ;) :dsm:

Looks so puuuurty... its gonna rust tho after a while. Mine did. ugh

where is the bov? backspin bad
I got a ssqv, but it's pointless to put it on this IC pipe considering you have to weld the flange on that's another reason I'm making my IC pipe, as far as compressor surge I just throttle down easy so it shouldn't be real bad on it hopefully OMG

did you put in a flex section in the downpipe
None yet, but I think I'm just gonna replace my test pipe section with a custom bolt in flex section. I think it should do the trick, plus the dp is too pretty to cut up

it is going to rust..........

yup, it's all going to rust...his did :p

I know of two here that has rusted but just surface rust so far but if I were you I'd spent the extra coin to get it jet hot coated to keep it good looking for a long time and they have alot of colors to choose from so you could have a blue down pipe or even purple???? :D

I would love to have it jet hot coated but unfortunately nobody around here does it, and I don't want to mail it off because my car is a daily driver, so I'm still deciding what I'm gonna do about rust other that polish it every now and then when it gets rusty :(

well, just keep an eye on it for really bad rust won't be for a while but you could always spray bomb it with a 1500 degree engine paint it won't stay on up near the turbo but it will all the rest of the way to the cat....

Yeah, the downpipes rust... Mine has been sitting in my spare bedroom all winter, and the darn thing is rusting!

Crazy, you kinda scared me with your first "rust warning"... I thought you were talking about the turbo. I have the same one, T3/T4e, and I'd kill someone if that thing started rusting.

PS how did you like getting back to the oil sending unit LOL

that pos really pissed me off, I finally took it to my dad's shop(long long drive from were I live now  ) and put it on the lift, and redid some stuff, including the vac line running to the fpr. I'l have to get some pics of it, looks really sweet the way I did it.

btw, I finished fabbing the I/C pipes yesterday and they're being welded as I type. I'm gonna post some pics tonight.
