i'm swapping a jdm gvr-4 cyclone motor into a 90 ggs-x and the thing is, i really want to stick with the 2.5" n/t throttlebody instead of the regular little turbo throttlebody. the problem is machv has the turbo replacement seals but only for the 91-99 throttlebodies. i've heard of people running o-rings instead with very little to no problems for like $0.50 a piece from good 'ole home depot racing. but nobody seems to have any straight answers on how they work out or especially on a 90 because they have a different sized seal on one than the other? any help or ideas would be really apreciated on this one. i'm thinking of just tearing apart the n/t throttlebody and taking the seals to home depot or even some local parts places and seeing what they can do for me.

Anybody else with more input on this? I've tried every where including the link above. The funiest thing is both Chrysler and Mitsu told me I need to buy the entire throttle body. So much for customer service. Thanks.

i went to home depot and got some o-rings. haven't run it yet but they fit almost perfect. 59 cents if i remember right. definitly worth a shot. i think they were #7 or #8 style.
