93 GS-GSX Conversion

Can anyone tell me how possible it is to turn my 93 Eclipse GS into a 93 Eclipse GSX AWD Turbo? A honda friend of mine said it cant be done....but I beg to differ. Anyone care to throw their 2 cents in? I'd love to hear comments from anyone who has tried or succedded!

Astounding as it seems, your Honda friend is pretty much right.

The conversion can be persuaded to happen, for about two grand more than the cost of a good GSX or TSi AWD. More than not, once you turn them upside down they're different cars.

So what your saying is it CAN be done...its just more expensive. Correct? The reason I am so stubborn on making MY car a GSX is because I have been working on MY car for years now and I am very proud of it. Getting another car would be exactly that...another car. Not mine. How different are they 2 cars on the bottom side?

your best bet is to start by making it turbo. if you can handle that then maybe start collecting parts to go awd. the turbo swasp isn't hard.

One step ahead of ya man. I bought a 1990 Turbo Eclipse and I'm doing a motor swap this week, AFTER I get the motor running right again.
