today me and a friend started talking about cars, and he said that the Apexi N1 sucked unless you have a gst/gsx or a 3g V6 he said i would lose torque and only gain 1-2 horse power but then again this is from a guy who believes his cousin has a 200 shot of NAWWWS in his civic. But anywasy does anyone agree with this guy or is he just jealous that I kicked his brothers @$$ a couple days ago?

Anyone correct me if I am wrong, but the Apexi N1 is supposed to be a very good exhuast system. If you don't have a turbo on your car, if there is an application for your ride, the exhaust piping will be tailored so that you will not lose but gain power. Obviously.

Speed Racer 97, if you were to throw the N1 on your car that was for the GS-T you would lose some performance on the bottom end because the piping would be too big for your non-turbo setup. If you bought the same system with smaller piping 2.5 inches for your car rather than 3 inches for the turbo's then the system would generate the expected results.

Any system that is not set up for yours or anyones particular application will be detrimental to the performance and not be as good unless you have X- car or X- car as your friend says.

Hope this helps and makes sense.
