Questions about a motor swap?

I recently put up a post about what to look for on a turboed car. Well that car is leaving and going to Texas and I cant sell my car in time to buy it, oh well. Anyway I still have my RS and what I was wondering is how hard it would be to put in a turbo motor from a GSX or GST. I had heard that the motors were all opposite...for ex. airbox and tranny. I dont know. I just figured it would be cheaper to pay for insurance if the company still thought it was a RS. Any thing would help. And if not a motor swap what else can I do to eat stock eclipses, civics, and integras.

No you can't swap that motor in your car. There are at least 3 threads about this same topic on the first 2 pages of this forum. Did you do a search at all? You have read some of those posts if you know the engines are opposite, did you read the parts where we said the swap is a really really really really really really bad idea? I'm sorry if this sounds harsh but someone asks this every 2 days. Now would a mod please stick one of these to the top of the forum already so we can stop this same question from being asked daily? How about a scrolling banner that reads do not ask about swaping a 4g63 (2g turbo motor GST, TSI, GSX) for your 420a (2g non turbo car RS, GS, TSI.)?
Now as for what you can do, BUY A TURBO KIT!!! keep the insurance low and if you get a stage two you can beat stock turbo eclipses if you can drive. That is the best way to do what you want to do period.

yup listen to kirby, drop a star stage II in it and you should eat stock eclipses (even gsx's) if u know how to drive
