Hello I have searched the forums and the internet and I have not found any information on the Hahn Portfueler system. My question is this I have a Walbro 255 ph fuel pump, 720cc injectors and a Msd ignition system(coil pack wires) with NGK performance plugs. Someone told me you have to have a stock setup to use this is this true? Also people are saying to wire this device in is way easier to wire in than all the other sytems like the Greddy Emanage, SAFC2 and the Megasquirt. Also will I have to do any saudering or harness buying? Last question is this the tuning on one of these easier to use? Thanks guys for your help I have learned a lot about the computer and wiring side of this whole thing.

Well you still need the walbro 255 fuel pump however you will want to go back to stock injectors and a stock tune. The portfueler uses a second set of higher flow injectors to increase fuel. I was thinking about saying something about this on one of your other posts but there are obvious draw backs to the system. First it is limited on the hp capabilities. A lot of people who run it use the hahn turbo system and with the 20G turbo it tops at 500hp I believe. I don't know if anyone has reached higher numbers with a different turbo system or not. Also you can not control spark timing with it and it is a little expensive. The obvious pro with it is its easy to use. You can program your fuel map and wiring is easy (4 wires I believe) you wont have to create your own board or wire all your sensors to a stand alone ecu. Here is some more info.

Alright you really have been my best help on my struggle to find the right fuel system for me. Let me tell you a little story so you get my perspective on this whole thing. I bought a car that was already wired up with the SAFC2. Now I do not know how much wire work goes into this system(Aftermarket harnesses, saudering if any, stripped and twisted wires). I have a T3/T4 turbo, MSD wires, MSD coil pack, NGK plugs, 720cc injectors and I want to run 20 psi(do not worry my engine internals are pretty well built look at my profile to view those). I do not want to get a Megasquirt system and the reason for that there directions are beyond complicated(involve twisting wires to the extreme, saudering, buying other fuse pieces and I believe other harnesses) and what kills this idea to the very end is the fact my car is wired up for the SAFC2. Now like I said I dont know how much harness and wire work goes into the SAFC2 so if you can awnser that question That would help me out as well. Also the Protfueler like you said would not work for higher pounds of boost like you told me. So that is out of the question the last thing that is on my mind now is the Greddy Emanage. Is there anything you can tell me about this system? I realise the tuning is very difficult but I would have one of the members on here that lives 50 miles away along with my stepdad and time and support to figure this device out on tuning it. My biggest question now is on the wiring and installation is this as complicated as the Megasquirt system? Also will it work with my turbo setup(T3/T4 T04E turbo, Msd coil pack, Msd wires, NGK plugs, 720cc injectors all running 20psi of boost? Over all is the E-manage better than the SAFC2? could I run this setup on that device? I am sorry if this annoys you man me asking this but you have to understand I have spent so much money on this car it is not even a joke. I do thank you your friend Jonathan Morasco

you know i heard of one company that will make a PnP harness with the megasquirt for the 420a. if i were you i would go pm slo2gen since he has alot of experience with the hahn turbo set ups. he made over 400hp on e85 with a 20g. 720cc injectors are pretty big what turbo do you plan on using? are you going to run pump gas? i think with a 420a turbo set up megasquirt is the only way to go imo. there are things you will never be able to do with portfueler and safc like ms. i hate wires to but ms is not impossible to wire up watch a youtube video on it.
