I'm pretty sure Paul had a flamethrower kit on his car, similar to the one in the link below.
EBay: Exhaust Flame Thrower Kit

Heres a picture of him being a bad ass with it. ROFL

I helped a friend stall one of these in his GTO. It ended melting the stuff inside the cat-converter. It wroks by diverting the spark away from the engine and instead to a spark plug down stream in the exhaust. So the air/fuel mixture goes downs you exhaust unburned until the end. You have to rev it up and then pust the button. It's tricky to get the hang of using it. I thought it was stupid

And LOL at Paul F&F Eclipse with flame thrower.

No performance gain
Possible engine damage
Obstructions in your exhaust path
Possible huge ticket, seized car, and definitely something for the police to remember you by.

And what are the Pro's again?

from the Ebay link

Exhaust Flame Thrower Kits burn your engine's unburnt fuel. The unburnt fuel has been produced by our control module by momentarily interrupting your vehicle’s ignition system. This produces more unburnt fuel through the exhaust. When this happens our spark unit then ignites the fuel producing a
1-8 foot flame from your exhaust.

To clear up a bit of confusion; that flamethrower video was made about 6 years ago. It started off as a bet from some co-workers that I couldn't get an EFI car to shoot flames (they're all carb'd V8 guys). So, I pieced together a flame thrower kit and put it on my car for a few weeks of laughs. It was never anything more than that. Definitely a ricer mod. It sure turned heads at HIN in Chicago though.

It does cut spark to the engine to work. It flowed raw fuel into the exhaust and send the spark energy to the coil and plug in the tailpipe. It could only burn for a couple seconds before the engine would stall. The major downside was that it would wash the cylinder walls. Prolonged use would put fuel in the oil and could eventually cause a compression hit. Like I said, it's definitely not something that I'd recommend anyone try on an engine that you care about.

Holy crap. By far the best dual-wielding I've ever witnessed.
Normally it's just some jackhat making a bunch of noise and putting more bullets into the ground than the intended target.
I practice one-handed and weak-handed shooting all the time, so dual weilding kinda came naturally to me. Not to mention that I'm extremely comfortable with those particular guns. It's near impossible to aim though because you can't look down either slide. It's just muscle memory and trying to watch where they land. ;)
