I'll elaborate further. You know what the shafts looks like It's a counterweight? The shaft is geared to oil pump sprocket. Each time you turn that sprocket all the way around the shaft spins 1/3 of a turn. So....Once in every 3 turns its in the...

Ok, so all 5 marks are lined up, when I mean "fighting" I could spin it left or right if I really wanted to but it's a little bit stiff is what I mean, I haven't been able to put the screw driver in because I can find the plug to do so, I've been...

I don't think you understand. Each spin is a full rotation and lined up on the mark. The shaft is geared behind the pump. That's why its only in phase once every three rotations. You always check with the mark lined up. What do you mean fighting...

Well since I cant find the screw, I saw an Evo 8 video of how to identify if it's in the right position, the sprocket is fighting me to turn passed the left of its mark and passed the right of the mark, it doesn't fight me when I want to line it...

I just can't get the car to idle correctly. I have to adjust the PSI/volt way down. Its scale is very close to the aem 5bar. I have to set it at around 12psi/volt vs 18psi/volt which is what it should be at just to get a really rich idle. I was...

The only thing I don't like about the 2.4 valve cover is the spark plug holes don't line up at all. It just bugs me for some reason.I'm not going to lie driving to school everyday with my bro in that exact car was so awesome. I loved that car...

Hello y'all, went ahead and set the timing belt tensioner counter clockwiseI'm having trouble finding the cylinder block plug to check the oil pump timing, it seems pretty tight in here behind the engine, doesn't seem like there's room for a...

I really don't know, back when I bought the car didn't pay attention to any of that, but I think is the one that came with the broken engine. this is a 1991 model, SNGML to be exact. mmm maybe I can check the part number for the CAS. anywho...

So selecting a min and max for the straight line. Well if you don’t know, you can find your answer by doing the test they way I did. Use a tire gauge and use air to pressurize the sensor. Start with normal no pressure then record the voltage...

I couldn't remember 100% so I looked it up to make sure what I thought I remembered was correct. I find myself doing that a lot more often as the years go by.

It’s def a green top 1G CAS.But the 89-90 version I believe has the wires coming out of the top of the sensor, Did you have another style sensor before ?

Sorry I should have been for clear. I'm having trouble with my user defined values. What I think should be used doesn't seem to work for min. And psi/volt.

Good news! the radiator shop said it was all good and got it home. Installed it and fitted perfectly, but decided to put it in the back for now since I have to take all the wiring out and fix it. Many wires were exposed, broken or badly fixed; so...

You forgot to do this in your last log... and not sure if this is on purpose, but your fuel pump is set to always be on in the misc tab.

I decided to just say screw it and throw some power steering in. I loved the room in the engine bay but I have to make this thing how I would of in my younger years. I can honestly say I don't think I'd ever get rid of it unless I'm going for...
