My drivers side seat barely stays locked in place. For example if I have to hammer my brakes, or even if I shift all my weight forward towards the steering wheel I can MOVE the whole entire seat forward w. out even using the adjuster. Its kind of dangerous because if I do have to hit the brakes I go flying towards the steering wheel LOL.. Not cool. The passenger side is fine.

I was wondering if anyone had experienced this problem. I was also wondering how hard it is to take the seat out and get a new bracket, if that is even the problem, it might just be the button/ adjuster.

I think its the bracket/rail honestly. I'm not too sure how exactly it works but something is stripped because if you use too much pressure against it, it lets go and the seat moves on its own.

Pleeeeease help! How hard is it to take my seat out for starters.

Thanx

I have the same problem as you, except it is my passenger side seat. It doesnt bother me because I don't have very many passengers(cept for the occassional fly honey ;) ). But I have taken that seat out a billion times and its easy. Take out two screws in front and two bolts in back. The driver side has all that electronic stuff but I'm sure the bolts are the same and then you would just have to unplug the wires. I'm sure you could get the parts from a salvage yard somewhere, but lemme know how it turns out(like how much it costs and what exactly you did to fix it).

Hey thanx for the reply! I thought I was going to be alone here haha..

Yeah my seats are not power so there won't be any electrical components down there.

My question to you is, do you take out the screws that are attached right to the floor? Like im talking about the screws that are w. the seat bracket? So I am assuming that the seat bracket/rail is one piece with the seat? I located those screws and I will take it apart probably tomorrow.

Are Talon seats/ brackets exactly the same?

I've only had the car for like 3 days so I have a bit to learn.

Thanx for your help tho, please reply soon!

These right?

Do u think for a temporary fix i can just swap the rails over from the driver to the passenger side?
