IC pressure test...HELP!!!

I made a home made pressure test and hooked it up and ran air from my 5 gallon air compressor thru the intake...i wouldnt build but like 2 psi.....when i would drive before it would build around 7 in 4th gear but only like 3 in anyother....strange.... when i was pressure testing it a lot of air was going thru the nipple on the valve cover. When i plugged that off it still wouldnt make more htan 2 psi and i cant pin point any other leaks really...I think there are a ton cuz i hear hissing everywhere Also i havent changed anything except crushing the BOV and setting timming and it used to hit 14 psi. nothings been changed yet it wont hit boost. Idle fine for the most part, at like 600 rpms....kinda low but i lost the BISS screw so i plugged that off till i got the new one(which i have but havnt put on cuz these problems) it does leak a smalll small amount of air out of a valve that is under the TB. not enough to hiss but you can feel it only after plugging it for a sec. it also leaks out of the CAS, and i lossened it and tightened it and now i lost my timing bassically i cant find any huge leak other than thru the valve cover as of tonight....but its also 12 degrees out so i wasnt out too long. When i bought the car it didnt run. it had a ton of junk yard parts on it as well as the TD04 when its a manual the timing belt had jumped 6 teeth so it needed a new head. I have put a new engine in it twice and 3 new heads due to defective valves dropping heads and other misc. bad luck. it ran alright boost till the alt went and ever since it hasnt run more than 3 except 4th gear. ANYONE NEAR NOVA/SPRINGFIELD area that wants to help is welcome ill post a ton more later on if there are questions. thanks for any info

You probably have bunch of other leaks, some of them don't show until you can increase the pressure. The one's that leaks at 2psi are not small leaks, the hissing will get louder as psi increases. Fix the one's you hear and pump up that compressor again. Hope this helps.

Your leaking air out the CAS??? umm, check your pcv its screwed. Get an OEM pcv not aftermarket (partstore crap, they all leak)

You have a lot of leaks if you can't build more then 2psi. To make life easier, just change all the gaskets (intake, the 2 throttle body gaskets, bov.) , all the seals (throttle body shaft seals, injectors seals) and fix all your vacuume lines or eliminate them.

Use soapy water, it helps alot

I tried to eliminate all the vacuum lines. I plugged the four on the TB but the sensor/actuator/thing under the TB leaks, I think its the EGR but i am pretty sure its not a Cali car. Ill have to get the PVC and replace that. I have all vacuum lines plugged except the one on the intake going to the fuelpressure silinod as well as boost gauge. other than that all intake nipples and TB ones are blocked off. so where else could it leak. its not from the BOV seal or the intake, might be around the injectors but i honestly dont think so. most of it seems to be the valve cover, but its cold and i work 12 hours aday so i havent really messed with it but for 15 mins, enough to piss me off since i thought it would just be the BOV since its the only thing i have modded since the last time i built 14 psi. thanks for the input ill try to get more facts to help the diag instead of just guesses
