Recommended by my friend that is one of the top tumers around. I went with 3923 which is bpr8es. I got preignition bad on one cylinder so i went to 8s from 7s but wondered why he would want me using the others over these

Interesting, I have never seen any of those used before, but they are copper NGK's sooo might be just as good or better than the norm around here. Personally I use NGK BR7ES plugs.

If you are getting pre-ignition I would look for the following, hot spots in the cyl, lean fuel mixture, and an overly agressive timing curve. The 1g timing map is VERY agressive. Have you messed with it at all?

ETA: I have noticed people moving away from the BPR7ES and to the BR7ES. The difference being a projected electrode vs non-projected. You don't need a plug in the 8 range unless you are making a LOT of power or doing something where you are going to be on the throttle a LOT, like road racing etc. Honestly I and many don't even NEED a plug in the 7 range, but there are times when we get a heavy foot up a Mt. or something where there good to have :)

Its all kinds of messed with LOL... i am tuned up for e85 and 20psi on 16g. I dropped the plugs to 8s and all seems good with no fouling after 120miles.. that tells me im ok qith them.
