  1. Can you swap a 6 Bolt 4g63 JDM motor into a 2g Eclipse and pass smog?

    I am in California and I recently bought a 2g 97 gst. The motor might be done and saw a used 6 bolt 4g63 online for about $2.7k. I wanted to know if anyone is knowledgeable about the 6 bolt swap and how the logistics would work with passing smog and a possible state ref.
