  1. Choosing gearbox shims & preload without factory specs - sanity check.

    Apologies up front that this thread is not specifically about a DSM transmission, however when googling for forums that seemed knowledgeable on gearbox shimming, bearing preloads etc, this forum seemed to have a lot of knowledgeable people, so I'm hoping I'm allowed to ask my question here...
