2G The ABS warning light is flashing – it goes out briefly when I turn the steering wheel

My ABS warning light is on, but it behaves in a very unusual way. The light goes out for just a few seconds if, immediately after starting the engine and pulling out of a parking space, I turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and then all the way to the right. As soon as I return the...

1G Is it possible to custom make ABS wheel speed sensors?

Several years ago I completely rebuilt my '92 AWD Talon's rear end, taking everything apart to clean it up, remove all the rust, treat and paint all the parts and replace some bushings and other parts before putting it all back together again. In the process, though, I destroyed both ABS wheel...

Hi. ABS triggers at low speed when the brake is pressed. Is there any way to read ABS on G1? I tried it with a diode tester, it`s a constant PLUS "+". ABS sensors have been changed in circle, the gap is 0.3-0.5 everywhere, the rotors (targets) are cleaned of traces of corrosion. This began after...

1G Does low tire pressure trigger ABS?

A few days ago my Talon's ABS suddenly started pulsing on and off every second or two while (thankfully) driving at a slow speed right after pulling out of a parking space. I pulled over, turned the car off, waited a few seconds, started it up again, and it went away, only to reappear a bit...

1G No ABS yet ABS light ON, WTF?

This used to be FWD 1990 Laser M/T, 4g37, n/t, no ABS, no A/C, no C/C, etc. I swapped the 4g37 out for 4g63. The donor was a 1992 Eagle Talon, FWD, M/T, 6bolt 4g63, n/t, A/C, C/C, no ABS (I believe = 99.9%). I did a bit of electrical work to make the swapped 4g63 run. I got a lot of help...

    Resolved 2G ABS ECU

I unbolted the passenger side floorboard/kick plate and this wire harness/box was underneath it. I have searched through the service manual but I didn't see anything near this location or size. The only thing close to it on a diagram was listed as an ABS-ECU. Any confirmation on what it is would...
