So i wanted to take out the wgs restrictor off of my 2g gsx.. so i took every step and did ### im supose to do but when i didnt find anything inside the tube.. dont even know ### it looks like or anything .. or maybe the previous owner took it off already i dont know ... Any help with how it looks or where exactly it is??

BCS

If, when looking at the BCS, there is not an obvious difference in the inner diameter of the two ports, then the mod may already be done. Below is the original 2G BCS and the white arrow points towards the nipple housing the restrictor.

It looks its not there but here it is out when i used the screw idea.

Be careful because you can push the restrictor further in, trust me been there done a big PITA to dig out. But once its out it should look identical to the top. And it was a noticeable gain for me.

Ok I'm new to any boost mods.
1) Can you remove the restrictor in the BCS on a completely stock 2g without adding anything else or doing any tuning?

2) This at the bottom (http://www.ecmtuning.com/wiki/bcsinstall) talks about also replacing the restrictor in the turbo line with a .025" one (pill). Again can you do this on a completely stock 2g without adding anything else or doing any tuning?

3) However I found a different place (http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/ec...t-control-solenoid-bcs.474792/#post-153384240) where they only add this pill for using ECMLink. So is it only for ECMLink or not?

Yep, the fuel system should easily handle the small amount of airflow gained. It would be a different story with a 16g or something that's already pushing the fuel system at just wastegate pressure, but the T25 shouldn't cause any problems.

A "boost pill" is typically used to eliminate boost spikes and creeps caused by an EBC that can't react fast enough or bleed off enough air. A .025" restrictor "pill" is necessary in order to use the stock boost control solenoid (along with ECMLink) as an EBC.

You could use a restrictor in order to raise boost pressure as it would delay the wastegate until a higher boost pressure. But you would have to experiment with different sizes and I wouldn't recommend it at all.
