i was tuning my car with an ecmlink today, and i noticed ,that my volts are dropping during wot pulls. i got an aftermarket gauge. while driving or idling ,the voltage is steady from 13.5 to 13.9. but when i do a wot pull it drops to 10 volts and bounces from 11.3 to 10 while im at wot. and the car is bugging on high rpms. I ran a new wires from the alt to the fuse box (8 gauge wire). and my batery is relocated to the trunk. The alternator is almost new, bought is from advance 3 months ago.... any suggestions? the oly think i can think of why my car is bugging on high rpms is because my fuel pump is not rewired ,,could it be that problem??

My car was logging about 10 to 11v at WOT too, typical 2g 60A alternator for you. There is a fix and it requires NO modification to the wiring on the car or the way your alternator mounts either. Mitsubishi put a 90A alternator in the '97 A/T Galants thats identical to our 2g 60A, it bolts in place and plugs right into our stock alternator harness.
