not sure what to do or where to start..1g talon
buddy has whats called a chump car , 1g talon with every race option ..stock engine ecu.full roll cage , fuel cell ,wideband ,deleted head lights wired in led lights , switches to turn every thing on the car on including ignition ,fuel, wipers the works
Issue is a check engine light is on , and of course there are many thing ran from this wire and that wire ..my question is.. can we just cut the obd wires and wire them directly to the ecu wires to pull the codes ..if so what wires ,do i tap the obd plug to? palm wont connect , obd 1 scanners wont connect no power or ground

Tried that getting nothing from the obd ..that's why I am asking what wires to tap into for the obd ...I am assuming all the wires have been cut already for other accessories.
