Hello Dsm'ers
I am back with the Engine Finally apart.. Well the Head from the Block.. SO after some muscle and FUEGO (Fire) I got the ARP studs out YES THEY ARE ARP!! woot.. I got them off and pulled the head off and THIS IS WHAT I SEEN.. I think the Number 1 Cylinder is the one closest to the Flywheel Side.. Well UNO is kinda gross.. Slag and Carbon Buildup?? idk.. as well as on the Head as well as you can see by the pictures..
Here
Followed by the Head side of the same piston..
Now These are the other Cylinders and Valves...
I seen a Few Videos of how to clean Valve Stems and redo the Springs and such...
These are the things I plan on doing if I can save all this without purchasing new Pistons or Valves..
Mitsubishi Recommended Removal of Cams 3:25 time.. ICE TRAYS ROCK FOR THIS
Valves : Ice Trays and Pizza Boards for Organization
Glyptal Application: Masks, Ventilation, & Steady Hand
Kiggly Race HLA:
Lifter Tech to help Identify and Clean: Ice trays, Kerosene, Peanut Container & Vice
Finish with These 2 Hopefully.. BUT GOOD GOD ITS ALONG TIME...
Casting & Porting: Sanding Wheel, Die Grinder
Porting & Polishing: Sanding Wheel, Die Grinder, Polishing Wheel
This is just a few things I plan to do to the head.. TIME TIME TIME.. the last 2 may take a while but hopefully ill get this all complete before I attach it back to my block... Great videos to watch..
This one was fun to watch.. Just to see it done and the Process... WISHLIST!
