So I just finished my lc2 wideband install and all went smooth I thought. I used pin 75 which I thought was the primary (front) o2 pin. I also installed the wideband in the front o2 location. Gauge works no problem. Went to setup with link and chose the front o2 pin assignment and then went to log and the afr would not move from 7.5 in link even though the gauge was working correctly. So I decided to change the pin assignment to the rear o2 and that seemed to work.
Went and did a quick log with boost and ended up getting 4.2 knock retard. Not sure if this has anything to do with the wideband and the pin assignment but just wondering if I need to change my wiring to a different pin.
The car is a 2g dsm. Basically stock with 3in turbo back and a Walbro 255 fuel pump. The fuel pressure reg will most likely be installed next weekend.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Well I made the mistake of using the pin out diagram from innovate site which says the primary is pin 75.

I guess my real question is do I need to change the pin I tapped into?

No, you don't need to change it. Just make sure that ecmlink is reading the correct pin for the wideband, doesn't matter which one. I assume you're simulating nbo2, so make sure that is set correctly also.

Don't forget that the LC-2 is a programmable wideband. This means that you can program the 0-5v curve to cover whatever AFR range you like. The defaults are set up a certain way and if you're wanting something different (aka specific to your setup) you're going to have to program the controller using the LMProgrammer software. All of this is included in the instructions for that wideband.
