I posted a video yesterday concerning the noise my top makes when opening and closing.

Today, I got in there and took a good look at the offending motor to see if maybe the shear pin had broke and maybe the noise was the gear spinning on the shaft. The shear pin looked fine, no noise from the top with the motor out when moved manually and the noise WAS there with the motor in place when moved manually...so I guess I need a replacement motor.
Does anyone know if these electric motors for the 2g Eclipse were used on any other vehicle? I'd love to buy a couple from the salvage yard if I can find them.
