ok, so i work/operate a garage and a 98 talon comes in, 2.0 turbo, AWD 5 speed. the motor comes to me partly disassembled...definitely a headache. anyways, i got most of the motor back together, and find out the motor itself must be a 95-96 2.0 turbo due to the cam sensor being behind the cam gear ran than being on the back of the cylinder head. I'm trying to figure out what goes on the back of the head behind the intake cam. i figure a plug of some sort. no mitsu dealers in the area, and the one that is, are completely useless over the phone. im hoping if it's just a plug or a seal of sorts then i can get it from the parts store with a part number. please tell me you guys can help me out.

unfortunately i still use an old dumb phone, so picture quality is horrible. it would be where the Cam Angle Sensor would normally be mounted. but as i said, this motors cam sensor is located behind the intake cam gear.

no, the half moon plug goes behind the exhaust cam. im talking about behind the intake cam.

@19Eclipse90 is that for a round plug or the half moon @BogusSVO is speaking of. and if it's the full plug, then im assuming its a dealer only part
