Rust Patch Repairs

I'm going to call this the "patches" section. Technically there is one last thing to patch for the filler neck, but I’m calling this task done… There is officially (almost) NOTHING left to patch up on the car as far as bodywork goes!!! :):)

Body Seam Sealing

I went to town making sure all of my tack-welded sheet metal over the entire car was weather sealed. Honestly, there are probably a few photos missing from this section:

Underbody Restoration (part 1)

Last, but certainly not least, the icing on the rear section underbody cake courtesty of some automotive rustoleum rubberized underbody paint. Also, it's always fun to look back where once started, so before and after:

No, you're onto something; my fiance is having the same problem. I'll delete those posts and just redo them sometime tomorrow; hopefully that fixes the problem. Thanks for bringing it to my attention :)
 
As of right now, is anyone having trouble viewing the attachments to his posts? I'm able to see them all. Try refreshing the page. And let me know if any of you are using Ad Blockers in your browser, as well as which browser and device type you're using.
 
I believe he managed to get the issue fixed.. but I feel bad for @iceguru1114 . @Ludachris if the picture issue is truly fixed would it be possible to clean up the thread? I feel bad that the thread has almost a full page of not being able to see the pictures.. that we can now see. LOL
 
Underbody Restoration (part 2)

I'll be out of the country for a few weeks, but before leaving I found some time to work on FUBAR and update the build thread.

Basically, the underbody treatment is working it's way forward. Once again, I dropped the rear subframe to expose my work areas:

Step 1 was hitting all those areas with a wire wheel:

Because cracked windshields are illegal in SCCA racing, I had to do this. Fortunately, it will allow me to get to some rust and it will make painting the car a little easier:

I have a spare vehicle with an intact windshield and, now that I know where to be careful, I'm confident I can get the spare out with no problems.

I'll have to repeat the wire wheel/corroseal/paint process one more time under the cockpit, but that should be a cakewalk in comparison to what I've done thus far. There's almost no rust in that area, and it's really flat. After that, here's a sneak peak of the next major milestone:

FUBAR has been a low priority lately, but I found some time to do a little bit to keep the project going.

Once again I got FUBAR back on build stands with both subframes dropped out:

Left Rear Frame Rail Repair

I got to work on repairing the frame rails. Here's DV side rear damage before:

I had to go in from the top to fix this issues. I went ahead and added some corroseal to the inner rail while I was in there:
