im new to the dsm's motor?

ok heres the deal im new to this sence. i have loved the dsm models for years and just got my 92 gs but the questen i have is 'how can you tell what motor is in your car?' the guy i got the car from says its a 2.5l is there any way to conform this be for i start my build?

I beleive you have a 4g63 n/t they are 2 liter stock. try here: Model Guide: Eclipse 1Gb - DSMtuners

edit: i dont think you can get a 4g up to 2.5 liters 2.4 max if im not mistaken which means its probably been bored out to 88mm awith a 100 mm stroker crank.

Being a '92, it also could be the 7bolt variety if the manufacturer sticker located on the driver's door jam shows the make date after June of that year...if it's the original motor.
