New DSMer from Texas

I forgot to do an intro thread when I first got here, so here goes.

I just picked up a very clean 93 TSI that I traded a Stage 2+ Bugeye WRX Wagon for. Drove up to NJ from Texas to pick it up, and drove it the whole way back w/o any issues( which many people thought I was crazy for attempting)

These cars have always been something I've wanted to own, but I knew all to well from some friends of mine the troubles they can have and so I never tried to get one because I didn't have a decent job back in the day. So far though in the few months I've owned it it has been mostly trouble free, the only issue so far has been a clutch spring popping out, but after dropping the trans the other night it was well over due for a fresh clutch.

On to the pictures!

Pardon the funky routing of the recirculation line, it's temporary until I switch over to a Dejon intake for the better placement of where it dumps into.

Mod list:

6 bolt motor with 1G big rods, 2G pistons, 3G lifters, and BSE
Injen intake w/ 2G MAF
NGK Plugs/Wires
FP Race Manifold
Ported and Clipped MHI 18G Turbo w/ Atmosphere 02 dump
3" Thermal TBE
ETS Race FMIC
FP silicone couplers
Aeromotive AFPR
SPEC Clutch
Fidanza flywheel
JM Fab small battery kit w/ Buschur battery
JM Fab race bumper
Ingalls adjustable upper rear control arms
Ingalls front camber bolts
Megan Strut tower braces
Tein Coilovers
16" Rota Boost Time Attacks
CRS aluminum radiator
Dual Mushimoto 10" fans
EVO 9 radiator cap
Autometer Boost Guage
Joe P MBC
DSMLink v2.5
Blitz FATT
JNZ short shifter
2g knob
Custom 2nd gear grind

I'm contemplating making the switch to a SBR 60-1 a friend of mine is selling for dirt cheap, but I'll be 100% satisfied with the 18G when I get it tuned from FIST Racing if I decide not to...
