Anyone playing this game online? If so, post up your Username and Current ranking. Anyone intrested in starting up a DSM Clan??

My username is Scottsee. I'm still waiting for the server to update my stats. I'm level 7 right now.. That was before 30 hours of online play where I absolutly wipped the table when I learned the maps.. Post um up fella's:dsm:

I have no clue what my rank is because I started playing when the stats were broken so right now I'm still the first rank. It only updates some of my ribbons.
 
I don't know whats been up with there servers, I hope they update soon.. The stats have been updating faster on their website forum then the actual game.. Weird.. Do you have a headset?
 
Not yet, I want to get one but other shit keeps happening that I have to spend my money on. I haven't checked on the website in a few days.
 
I havent played in a while. I am pretty decent. I usually hop on Resistance before i play Marvel ultimate Alliance, but im usually online with Resistance for about 1-2 hours.

Forgot to mention that I don't have a mic at all because I'm broke and school is starting soon to so I wont be getting a mic anytime soon.

About the stats it's slowly updating, it's also tells you what they are doing right now in the greeting message you get when you first log in. Some new updates to come with the upcoming patch.
 
How can you guys play FPS games with the controller......... I cant stand them ;)
I wish you could use a keyboard and mouse in FPS games...
 
I find it easy to play with a controller since im use to it. I can still play fps w/a mouse and keyboard. I guess it is just getting use to it.
 
I check the website and my stats aren't that good..LOL

I'm 0/12 with more deaths than kills.

I really need to learn the maps.

But those are still behind. I have a shitload of kills with the arc charger but it says I have 0
 
i just played it tonight. eh, not impressed. Something about doing FPS on a standard playstation controller, even with dual shock, just annoyed me. I never had a problem with Halo/Halo2 on the xbox controller, and i use the xbox controller for PC FPS (buddies hate me cause they suck at strafing around a target and i just circle them and barrage them with lead). i dunno, nothing really stood out for me like other FPS, Halo was the awesome storyline, Prey was the entire thought process behind the game and making a FPS where you had to think with all 3 dimensions, Quake just cause its ####ing Quake, Doom3 cause its scary as shit if youre alone at night in the dark. this to me feels like another call of duty or medal of honor but they ripped off some weapons from quake/prey/halo. hell even the tank controls were equal to layout and feel as halo. its like just halo in the past with future stuff.
 
I wasn't overly impressed with the Campain mode when I started playing it either. The game engine is pretty generic. It wasn't untill I beat the game, went online, and started playing Multiplayer did I start to appricate the game. Thats where learned about the ribons, metals, forum, and how to use all the wepons. Once I figure it out, the Campain mode was alot funner trying to get all the Skill points.. I became more of a Game, insted of a quest...
 
Well after a few more hours I still have no wins but all the stats updated and I'm up to corporal.

I feel the same way. All I can say is practice practice practice.

On the original xbox, there's actually an adapter which will let you use a keyboard and mouse to control for FPS games. Don't know about any other systems tho.

I don't know what the argument is in which is better, but I can tell you for a fact that with a keyboard and mouse i am easily 10x more accurate than I am with a stupid controller.
