I'm downloading it now. It looks awesome and has a brand new physics engine. I'll post back with more impressions as soon as I play it and if I can save some pics I'll try to post them up as well.

I downlaoded and played a couple laps before I got to work...
I must say the game is great! I cant compair to GT4 because my PS2 broke before I could play that..
But GT HD is awesome! They have a cool online ranking thing where your times put your in a world wide rank... Really makes the game much more fun.
The lighting effects are pretty awesome too! The cars look really nice, though the spectators on the side of the road arejust static.. and when you crash into them they dont go flying ;)

Over all the game is great but it does feel like a big unfinished demo.. but cant complain Sony is offering it free ;)

Oh and I am going to try with the GT4 wheel when i get home, i wonder if it supports the force feed back....

I dont know but it seems like GT4 has to get upto date with there video games a little bit. Me as a gamer and im sure you guys too want to see and hear some of the different cars engine noises for ex. In forza motorsports with honda cars the "vtec" noise is evident which is a pretty cool feature, it just makes it feel more liftlike. The corvettes actually sound like corvettes, they have a mean rumble to it, In Gran Turismo games all the V8's sound the same and they sound soft. Another thing is the turbo spool noise, go play Forza motorsports and listen to an sti/evo you can hear the turbo spooling up, even the rx'7s sound like rotary engines...I like these noises features in video games, it makes it alot more fun, hopefully in the gran turismo series they bring these features into the game, and i know for a fact GT4 didnt have none of those features.

Welll mI just unlocked a few more cars, one being an integra/RSX... you can really hear the VTec with this car, so i guess they fixed that? As for turbos well my sound was down so i couldnt hear them, but my brother says there are turbo sounds ;)

Ya when you get the faster cars which I won't give away the sounds are there. What's your PS3 online ID VPrime? It would be cool to have someone from tuners on my list.

The graphics are awesome. To take a piture of my TV screen would not do it justice. The handling is a little different but is still Gran turismo. I don't have a driving Wheel or I'd comment on that. I will probably get a wireless one at some point.

did you guys get the usa version? i heard a lot of ppl not been able to get it yet, what do i do just hook my ps3 to online, then go the the playstation store? i havent even played a game on it yet, any input would be helpful

Offtopic, Forza did a much better job than GT, even on there first game, still waiting on forza 2,,,,,that wil be sick

My online ID is MurtazaS :D
I tried the GT4 wheel and it makes the game too hard :p mainly because I have no where to mount the wheel ;)
There is no Force feedback, but it does support the full 900 degrees of the wheel.
I went back to the controller mainly because i did worse on the wheel then the controller!

As for getting the game, You hook up your PS3 to go online, and you may need to update your firmware. Once it downloads the update the PS3 store will be available.. To use the store though you need to make an online account on the PS3.. I suggest using a USB keyboard if you have one as the process takes for ever on the controller..
Once your make your account it logs you in, and just select the store, and Gran turismo HD should be advertised, just click it and then select download in the window that pops up...
Then wait until its done downloading and installing, then enjoy the game :)
