Thanks all.. Ya I will get better pictures up. These were from my phone so they were kinda fuzzy.. Ill take some with my Girls Digital Camera..

My goals.. Ok I had my evo3 setup on there.. It was a nice set up.. Tuned nice.. Pulled very nice.. I just needed more up top.. I put down 265hp an 250tq on Full Functions mustang dyno.. I will be taking the car back to them for another tune next month with this new setup.. I will be happy with 320 to 350hp on there dyno.. Its not a daily driver thanks to my bucket corolla lol.. only take it out on weekends.. occasionally on a nice day..

Ok.. here are some more pictures of the install.. There will be more as the process goes on.. the last picture is the set of rims i will be installing back on the car as soon as its running.. Stay tuned for more..

What you guys think?? Thanks all!

Eric

just an update.. More pictures will be up Thursday.. thats when I'm receiving the rest of the parts. Sorry for the wait for those who are interested..

Thanks all

Ok guys. I started my car today.. drove to work.. runs great.. then when i get in it to move it.. Its running very ruff at idle.. almost like if you were unplug the MAF... the vacume is around 10in when i wiggle the plug on the maf it will start to idle normal.. but when i rev it up it sounds like the BOV is like not opening up or somethin

Anyone have any input on what the prob might be..?? it runs fine now... its only sometimes it does it...thanks guys

Eric

Unplug the MAF and check the actual plug, and then try to start the car and see if there's a difference when you idle it with the maf unplugged, if not then you have either a bad maf or a bad connection leading to the maf.

Car looks nice man! Really coming along well. I think you could've gotten that 350 out of the E316g though, but now you can look forward to spinning through 3rd too.

I'm aiming for 350 on my 16g + meth, should be fun.

Check the MAF plug, they seem to get dirty from time to time. Unpluging & pluging back in a few times usually helps to clean the contacts, or the best method is to pic up some contact cleaner from (from an electrical supply store, etc) & give it a spray, while pluging/unpluging. Also just to make sure, you did a boost leak test after the install?

Setup is looking good, sure you'll like the new turbo. The evoIII is a great street turbo but I didn't think it was the best turbo choice on a fwd with its instant on/off boost. I defently liked the slower, more linear spool of my FP3052 much better when the car was fwd.

HAHA thanks bro..

As far as 350 on the 16g not to sure.. sean at full function said around 270 on there dyno is where most 16gs end up.. (I put down 265) but could not get that much timing in it for some reason.. was dissapointed in the #s but soon as i hit the freeway home and WOT but im sure with meth on a dynajet i could have put down 350. but No matter what happenes mustang dyno says 270 dynapack says 310 this that.. still gonna run the same time

I look at it this way.. before 265hp on mustang dyno.. Gonna be going to the same dyno and if i put down 350hp thats 85hp increase which will for SURE feel on the butt dyno haha

Right on man.. Will give that a shot.. and I have not did a boost leak test yet.. Which i will do before even tryin to tune it..

An the FP3052 was the turbo i was saving for lol.. just came across this turbo brand new never installed for 540 shipped with fittings.. so i went for it..

Looks great man. And glad to see your feeding the turbo from the head instead of the oil filter housing. Good luck with hitting 350, I'm sure you can do it! Keep us posted.

Yes it does! And reading the other posts i think 350 is a nice goal. On a similar flowing turbo, a stock bottom end and just 264/272 cams and a tune, I made the 332/312 in my avatar on pump gas and very consirvative timing at only 20psi. I was running methanol injection but had not learned to take advantage of it fully at the time and could have done probably better if the tune was geared to use the meth/water mix and had the right nozzle on it. (i needed more nozzle at the dyno and didn't even have my tune leaned out to be a correct AFR when the water was spraying, It was set at 11:1 on gas alone and then i just dumped the meth in on top of it. I couldn't monitor knock at the time and was very unsure about the W/A setup and that's why my tune was as conservative as it was

Ok.. I feel like a tard for this one. I was wondering why my car was studdering at idle sometimes. Thinkin it was my MAF... So I was driving today and it was quiet and I was next to a long wall.. So I gave it a lil gas and i heard i loud Hiss! sure enough my clamp on my intercooler pipe was loose!!! WOOOOW good one Eric

turboglenn: Thats some nice numbers man ya im sure you could have got alot more out of her man..

Killa_dsm
Thanks bro Ya Im glad I went from the head myself.. I will be sure to keep you guys posted.. My PTE 1000s just arrived Now just waiting on my AFPR and Fuel Feed Upgrade kit

Next mod should be the AWD swap so you can use the first 3 gears after you dyno with your new setup.

Waiting for numbers.

I will tell you that 25psi and 20psi are way different with the G50 with everything else in the tune being equal. My car pulls so much harder with just the 5 more psi.
